    Description
    The Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Senegal (CSA) partnered with SOCIEUX+ to strengthen the capacities of its trade union leaders and representatives to address the challenges and opportunities arising from the green and just transition. Through a peer-to-peer exchange with experts from France and Belgium, participants enhanced their understanding of AI, green jobs, skills development, and trade union strategies to anticipate changes in the labor market. The activity combined interactive training, practical exercises and the exchange of European and international experiences adapted to the Senegalese context. As a key outcome, participants jointly developed the foundations of a confederal roadmap on the just transition, providing the CSA with a strategic basis for integrating environmental, social and employment considerations into its future advocacy, social dialogue and capacity-building activities. The action also promoted an inclusive approach by integrating gender equality and the realities of the informal economy throughout the discussions.
