Inauguration of an entrepreneurship training week in Mauritania
The Federation of Services, SOCIEUX+ and the EU Delegation in Mauritania inaugurated, in Nouakchott, a training week for trainers in entrepreneurship, supported by the Deyahi Foundation. The activity is part of the technical cooperation developed by SOCIEUX for the design of a training course for young entrepreneurs (2020-08). Read the news here published by Le Calame.

SOCIEUX+ technical cooperation information sessions in Uzbekistan
The Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan hosted the prospection mission of SOCIEUX+ to Uzbekistan. Several bilateral information sessions dedicated to the SOCIEUX+ Facility were held in Tashkent and Samarkand to introduce the possibility of cooperation on social protection and employment policies in the framework of EU technical assistance. Capacity-building for public institutions who serve people with disabilities in Panamá
The National Secretariat for Disability (SENADIS) of Panama has co-developed training and a mapping exercise with organisations that serve the population living with disabilities and their families. This is part of a SOCIEUX+ cooperation ( 2021-22) to strengthen the relationship between public institutions and the associative movement. Read the news published here.

International Conference on Social Health Protection in Niamey, Niger
More than 300 participants, online and on site, will be attending International Conference on Social Health Protection in Niamey, Niger, organized by the Ministry of Public Health of Niger, Enabel, WHO, ILO and the platform Be-cause Health. SOCIEUX+ will present as well, presenting experiences of cooperation on universal health insurance and reflections on equity.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting societies and economies at their core, linking social protection and inclusion of vulnerable groups has become even more imperative.
