Promoting safe work at high and low temperatures in Serbia
In the framework of the SOCIEUX+ technical cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, a training on the implementation of health and safety procedures at work at high and low temperatures was held in Belgrade, with the participation of public experts from Czech Republic and Latvia. São Tomé and Príncipe develops Entrepreneurship Strategy with EU support
São Tomé and Príncipe is developing its first national entrepreneurship strategy with the support of European Union. Led by the National Directorate of Entrepreneurship, the three experts mobilised, two Portuguese and one from Cape Verde, in a triangular cooperation action organised by SOCIEUX+, were received by the Minister of Youth and Sports. Seminar 'Building Bridges' in Uruguay: Promoting a National Job Orientation System
The Minister of Labour and Social Security (MTSS) of Uruguay, Pablo Mieres, participated in the opening of the seminar Building Bridges, organised jointly with the EU Facility SOCIEUX+, where he highlighted the need for articulation between public and private actors to improve access to employment for the vulnerable population. SOCIEUX+ launches e-course Acting Upon Inequality
SOCIEUX+ has launched the e-course “Acting upon inequality”, designed to training and raise awareness among experts engaged in the Facility's technical cooperation activities, and also open to anyone interested. São Tomé and Príncipe launches next phase in the formulation of its National Entrepreneurship Strategy
The preparation of the National Entrepreneurship Strategy in São Tomé and Príncipe has entered its second phase, focusing on the following pillars: Technology Exchange and Innovation, Access to Finance, Awareness and Networking. The work, which should be completed in June, is supported by the EU through SOCIEUX+, which has mobilised four experts, two from Portugal and two from Cape Verde, for technical cooperation (2023-41). Montenegro concludes initial phase of OSH improvement project with SOCIEUX+ support
The Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Montenegro has completed the initial phase of a project aimed at improving occupational safety and health (OSH) measures in Montenegro, focusing on temporary or mobile construction sites and the role of coordinators in ensuring compliance, with the support of SOCIEUX+ (cooperation 2023-36).
