The EU Facility SOCIEUX+ and the Economic Research Institute of Kazakhstan held the webinar "Social assistance measures: experience of the European Union" on September 27; the event involved public experts from France (CNAF) and Slovakia (Comenius University in Bratislava), and honored the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. SOCIEUX+ training in Kazakhstan: Enhancing NGO grant applications assessment procedures
Within the framework of a SOCIEUX+ technical cooperation in Kazakhstan, a training on improvement of procedures of the assessment of grant funding applications by NGOs that implement social projects was completed (2022-14). During the five-day training, independent experts and project managers of the Civil Initiatives Support Center learned about models of grant funding and exchanged experiences with European trainers from Romania and Portugal. Seminar 'Building Bridges' in Uruguay: Promoting a National Job Orientation System

SOCIEUX+ ex-post evaluation mission of the cooperation on disability assessment reform in Armenia
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Armenia has published an article on the evaluation visit of SOCIEUX+ Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to Yerevan, from the 12th to the 16th of June. The mission aimed at informing if and how the tools, action plans and recommendations that the experts identified during the technical cooperation missions have been followed up and what results are being produced months later (SOCIEUX+ 2017-38, 2020-21, 2020-23, 2020-24, 2022-10).

SOCIEUX+ online training on young NEETs with the National Employment Agency of Moldova
Employees of the National Employment Agency of Moldova participate in the online training course on accompaniment services provided to NEET-youth, organised by SOCIEUX+, with expertise from the Swedish Public Employment Service and Mission Locale from France. The course covers the specificities of NEET youth; individual sessions and group work techniques; disabilities; networking and relations with employers. The Practitioner's Network will visit Kenya and showcase experiences of joint cooperation
The platform for European cooperation organisations Practitioners' Network (PN) will convene in Kenya to showcase examples of joint implementation, leverage learnings and strengthen relations with Kenyan partners. AFD, AICS, British Council, CPMA, DANIDA, Enabel, Expertise France, FIIAPP, GIZ, Goethe Institut, MFA NL, RoAid, Sida, SlovakAid, SNV and the European Commission will participate at the sessions, which will include a presentation of SOCIEUX+ and its activities. The Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Arujan Sain, participated in an online meeting on a series of webinars for Kazakhstan on "Creating a system of foster care for minors without parental care and protection. Universal Health Insurance: SOCIEUX+ cooperation with INAM Togo
The National Institute of Health Insurance (INAM) hosted from 26 September to 7 October 2022, a mission of the EU Expertise for Social Protection, Labour and Employment SOCIEUX+.
