Promoting safe work at high and low temperatures in Serbia

Montenegro concludes initial phase of OSH improvement project with SOCIEUX+ support
The Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Montenegro has completed the initial phase of a project aimed at improving occupational safety and health (OSH) measures in Montenegro, focusing on temporary or mobile construction sites and the role of coordinators in ensuring compliance, with the support of SOCIEUX+ (cooperation 2023-36). The EU Facility SOCIEUX+ has released a new publication titled Facing Climate Change: How can social protection and labour policies support adaptation and mitigation? The publication is the first in a new series of metapapers that synthesize knowledge from SOCIEUX+ technical cooperation cases, and it is aimed at policy makers and stakeholders worldwide.

Launch of cooperation with the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Montenegro

Launch of a training programme for public employment services in Gabon
The Minister of Labour of Gabon, Madame Solange Nguiakie, and the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the EU Delegation, Nicolas Kasprzyk, have jointly launched a training programme for the National Center for the Promotion of Employment (PNPE), with the technical assistance of SOCIEUX+. The aim of this activity is to strengthen the capacity to provide services to jobseekers, particularly vulnerable groups, and will count on the expertise of experts from France and Sweden (SOCIEUX+ 2023-27).
