- The Training, Assessment and Research Institute for Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia works on methodological improvements in data collection on social protection matters, which reverberate on the quality and relevancy of data analysis and, therefore, policy advise. Experts from Belgium, Finland, Portugal, and Slovakia mobilized by SOCIEUX+ have collaborated with the partner in reengineering data-collection methods (sampling and questionnaires) and provided examples of modern tools and methods for data analysis. The partner has engaged into the elaboration of policy advise, thus building the ground for the development of knowledge-based policy making in the area of social policy.

- This action is part of a series of actions in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion (MTPE) of Peru, in the area of labour and employment. In this circumstance, the MTPE aimed to address the lack of reliable data needed to take informed decision on the labour market. Experts from France and Spain presented EU member states’ labour market information systems. They also helped the partner to review the indicator system for monitoring national employment policies. A significant part of the peers’ interaction was dedicated to the characterization of the Peruvian labor market. The discussions also dealt with informal labor indicators based on administrative records and surveys, underemployment indicators, gender and youth indicators, labor quality assessment, decent work. Lastly, attendants focused on statistical and econometric methods applied to small geographic areas, dealing notably with the use of Big Data and Machine Learning.

- Prosperidad Social of Colombia requested SOCIEUX+ assistance in view of improving the architecture and data management system of the Sub-Directorate-General for the Elimination of Poverty. Experts from France and Spain carried out an initial mapping of the data structure associated with the UNIDOS program, and the data exchange flows between this entity and the rest of functional units. They further prepared a preliminary data model, identifying and characterizing the data relevant to the Sub-Directorate-General based on its use and its origin. Recommendations for System requirements management and Project approval were developed.
