- The National Agency for the Promotion of Employment requested SOCIEUX+ assistance in enhancing the quality of its services to job seekers. French and Spanish experts worked on providing the ANPE with concrete actions to take place to streamline and improve its services among the different agencies, with the resources available. A handful of job counselors also benefited from a training of trainers to have a multiplying effect with newcomers.

- The National Social Protection Council (NSPC) of Cambodia has the mandate to develop, supervise and regulate the social protection system and to ensure harmonization of the different strategies, policies and other social protection activities, including for the people with disabilities. To the three activities, deployed at distance, contributed experts from France, Portugal, Spain, Greece and Finland, who first presented international and EU best practices and cases with regards to social protection coverage of people with disabilities. A mapping of the existing policies, measures, initiatives, both from national institutions and development partners was then co-developed, with a view to identifying possible coverage gaps or inconsistencies. The final activity coached NSPC’s staff on building a methodology for developing an action plan for disability-inclusive social protection.

- The Action responded to the partner’s need to have available strategies and practices apt to enhance entrepreneurship’s skills through training to young entrepreneurs. Experts from Belgium and France assessed the existing entrepreneurship support ecosystem and defined of a roadmap for setting up comprehensive training services for young entrepreneurs and training of trainers/coaches. The further activities were dedicated to jointly build training modules of the curriculum in entrepreneurship, and to deploy a 5-days training of trainers on entrepreneurship for the partner’s agents.

Social dialogue and public-private partnerships for green jobs in the Forestry sector of Loreto

- The Action aimed to support the regional government of Loreto to promote opportunities for decent green jobs. It focused on the potential of public-private mechanisms for the sustainable development of Loreto's forestry sector with the generation of green, formal and decent jobs for the local youth. The Regional Direction of Employment chose to join an existing Regional Forestry Roundtable. Experts from France, Germany and Spain mapped the value chains of the forestry sector, made an analysis of the needed professional skills to access quality green jobs. In that perspective, experts formulated a proposal for a pilot training programme for young people, that could act as a catalyst for creating employment opportunities in the regional forestry sector.

- Only one activity was carried out following a request from Mexico’s National System for Integral Family Development to elaborate and transfer to case managers and prosecutors a set of guidelines for tackling bullying and violence in schools. Experts from Portugal and Spain brought examples from their own systems to the attention of partners and produced a first draft of the guidelines, according to a psycho-social approach incorporated as a basic targeted social service as part of the school system.

- This action in collaboration with the National Employment Fund of Cameroon, aimed at improving services provided to job seekers, more specifically by assessing capacities of job counsellors on the topic of soft skills. Experts from France and Belgium focused on empowering job counselors in the appropriation of techniques and key skills of job counseling, with an emphasis on young job seekers. A large number of job counselors took part in the construction of training of trainers, involving staff from Yaoundé and Douala.
