Prevention of bullying in Mexico

Public experts from Castilla y León (Spain) helped their Mexican counterparts at SNDIF (Sistema Nacional por el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia), and their local partners, to develop a monitoring and evaluation system to assess the implementation of the National Strategy for the prevention of bullying in schools (SOCIEUX+ 2016-05 Mexico).

Training on disability policies in Azerbaijan

Taking the population with disabilities into consideration for all public policies, starting with access to public services, employment and social rights. Examples and lessons from elsewhere, a mission led by two high-level Moldovan and Lithuanian international experts. Training SRTCLSP staff on disability policies, accessibility of people with disabilities (Art 9 UNCRPD) and inclusion polices of people with disabilities in the labour market and VET (Art. 27). Reform of employment services in Benin

Technical assistance for the implementation of an ambitious redesign of services rendered to the Beninese population by the different social structures: employment; entrepreneurship; vocational training; and, volunteering. Social, economic and financial challenges were found in the mission with two partners on the ground: Pôle emploi and WAPES/AMSEP. (SOCIEUX+ 2017-01 Benin).

Social protection coverage in the informal economy in Colombia

IPES wishes to understand policy options to secure some sort of social protection coverage for informal workers of Bogotá. Experts mobilized by SOCIEUX+ have assessed the current policies and programs intended to include vulnerable and, informal populations, and facilitated dialogue among significant numbers of municipal stake holders, who might have a role in tailoring adapted social protection measures. (SOCIEUX+ 2017-26 Colombia).

Other Resources

Freely available online, Full Social Jacket is a web game and documentary on the challenges of social protection. Launched by the Belgian Federal Public Service Social Security, the project has produced a website, with 10 films telling real-life stories and expert interviews on 10 topics in different EU countries: pensions, health care, disabilities, volunteering, social housing, child day care, re-employment, long-term care, and social Europe. The viewer can also see the documentary in a more classic way.
