Montenegro concludes initial phase of OSH improvement project with SOCIEUX+ support
The Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Montenegro has completed the initial phase of a project aimed at improving occupational safety and health (OSH) measures in Montenegro, focusing on temporary or mobile construction sites and the role of coordinators in ensuring compliance, with the support of SOCIEUX+ (cooperation 2023-36). São Tomé and Príncipe develops Entrepreneurship Strategy with EU support
São Tomé and Príncipe is developing its first national entrepreneurship strategy with the support of European Union. Led by the National Directorate of Entrepreneurship, the three experts mobilised, two Portuguese and one from Cape Verde, in a triangular cooperation action organised by SOCIEUX+, were received by the Minister of Youth and Sports. SOCIEUX+ mobilizes public experts to support São Tomé and Príncipe's entrepreneurship strategy
As part of the preparation of São Tomé and Príncipe's National Entrepreneurship Strategy, the Director of Entrepreneurship and experts mobilized by the EU initiative SOCIEUX+ meet with the Minister of Youth and Sports. Launch of a training programme for public employment services in Gabon
The Minister of Labour of Gabon, Madame Solange Nguiakie, and the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the EU Delegation, Nicolas Kasprzyk, have jointly launched a training programme for the National Center for the Promotion of Employment (PNPE), with the technical assistance of SOCIEUX+. The aim of this activity is to strengthen the capacity to provide services to jobseekers, particularly vulnerable groups, and will count on the expertise of experts from France and Sweden (SOCIEUX+ 2023-27).

Training for inclusive employment in Serbia
The seminar Training on the concept of working with people with disabilities, organised by SOCIEUX+ with the National Employment Service of Serbia, and supported by the Ministry of European Integration and the French Embassy, has begun in Belgrade. Experts from France and Romania will exchange EU practices with counsellors for the employment of persons with disabilities to enhance knowledge and labor market accessibility. SOCIEUX+ training in Kazakhstan: Enhancing NGO grant applications assessment procedures
Within the framework of a SOCIEUX+ technical cooperation in Kazakhstan, a training on improvement of procedures of the assessment of grant funding applications by NGOs that implement social projects was completed (2022-14). During the five-day training, independent experts and project managers of the Civil Initiatives Support Center learned about models of grant funding and exchanged experiences with European trainers from Romania and Portugal. SOCIEUX+ ex-post evaluation mission of the cooperation on disability assessment reform in Armenia
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Armenia has published an article on the evaluation visit of SOCIEUX+ Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to Yerevan, from the 12th to the 16th of June. The mission aimed at informing if and how the tools, action plans and recommendations that the experts identified during the technical cooperation missions have been followed up and what results are being produced months later (SOCIEUX+ 2017-38, 2020-21, 2020-23, 2020-24, 2022-10).
