SOCIEUX+ Extends Network of Focal Points

SOCIEUX+ EU Expertise on Social Protection, Labour and Employment is extending its network of Focal Points and invites public institutions and social partners from the 27 EU member states to be part of this network.

Improving the lives of persons with disabilities in Mauritius

SOCIEUX+ is cooperating with the Ministry of Social integration, Social Security and National Solidarity of Mauritius, with the support of the EU Delegation in Mauritius, on an assessment of the disability sector with the goal of improving services and fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities . (SOCIEUX+ 2020-37).

Focus group with job seekers in Burkina Faso

SOCIEUX+ is supporting the recently reorganised Burkina Faso National Employment Agency (ANPE) in the preparation of its Strategic Development Plan. As one of the first steps for this action, public experts from Pôle Emploi and the Ministry of Labour of France participated in a focus group with local job seekers in Burkina Faso  (SOCIEUX+ 2019-16).

In support of universal health insurance coverage in Kongo Central, DRC SOCIEUX+ is supporting the Division of Health of the Kongo Central province, Democratic Republic of Congo, by formulating a feasibility study on the introduction of compulsory and universal health insurance mechanisms at the provincial level (SOCIEUX+ 2020-06 )

Sharing experiences on equal access to the civil service in Costa Rica

SOCIEUX+ is cooperating with the Directorate General of the Civil Service (DGSC) of Costa Rica in an action to make access to the nation’s civil service more equitable, efficient, and effective.  (SOCIEUX+ 2021-12).

The World Association of Public Employment Services, together with the International Labour Organization, the European Commission, the Inter-American Development Bank, and SOCIEUX+, published the results of the joint survey on public employment services.
