SOCIEUX+ webinar for experts

More than 120 participants took part in the first webinar for public experts organised by SOCIEUX+. The objective was to recognise and value the work of these experts and let them discuss recent developments and challenges in their fields. The experts were also invited to reflect on the SOCIEUX+ knowledge development strategy.

On-the-job training sessions with the National Employment Agency of Togo

A series of on-the-job training sessions has just been completed in Lomé and Kara with the National Employment Agency (ANPE) of Togo, aimed at increasing ANPE’s services by identifying and improving the soft skills of employment counselors (SOCIEUX+ 2020-27 TGO).

Training of trainers on functional disability assessment in Armenia

As part of technical cooperation activities conducted between SOCIEUX+ and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Armenia, about 40 medical and paramedical specialists participated in a training of trainers on functional disability assessment (SOCIEUX+ 2020-23).

Building inclusive social protection systems in times of pandemic: The example of NASSCO in Nigeria

Linking social protection and the inclusion of vulnerable groups to data systems is a key challenge of social security institutions worldwide. We review the example of NASSCO and the work they carried out in Nigeria with SOCIEUX+ to tackle the structural challenges to improving these systems (SOCIEUX 2020-20 & 2020-22).

Study visit of a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic to Finland to learn about promoting employment of people with disabilities

A delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic visited Finland to learn about EU good practices in the promotion of employment opportunities for people living with disabilities, in a mission organized by SOCIEUX+ and the University of Helsinki (SOCIEUX+ 2019-19).
