EU supports capacity building for labour market matching in Suriname
The Minister of Labour, Employment and Youth, Steven Mac Andrew, was briefed on Friday, October 13, 2022 by the experts mobilized by SOCIEUX+ in charge of the implementation of the fourth and last mission of this European Union (EU) initiative. The aim of this cooperation in Suriname, which has benefited from the expertise of Actiris, has been to strengthen the capacities for matching employers seeking labour with jobseekers (SOCIEUX+ 2019-31). SOCIEUX+ prospection mission to Uzbekistan
The Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan hosted the prospection mission of SOCIEUX+ to Uzbekistan. Several bilateral information sessions dedicated to the SOCIEUX+ Facility were held in Tashkent and Samarkand to introduce the possibility of cooperation on social protection and employment policies in the framework of EU technical assistance. Promoting youth employment in Burkina: ANPE's strategic plan 2023-2027 approved by national partners
The reform of the National Employment Agency (ANPE) aims to place the structure at the heart of the employment promotion strategy. Since the end of 2021, the process of drawing up the ANPE's 2023-2027 strategic development plan has been underway, with technical support from SOCIEUX+ (2020-32). On 10 August 2022, a workshop was organised with all the actors of the employment ecosystem to share the content of this plan with a view to its validation. Promoting employment in Burkina: ANPE Strategic Plan 2023-2027
The National Employment Agency (ANPE) opened a national workshop in Ouagadougou to validate the new strategic development plan for the period 2023-2027, that will enable ANPE to play its role in promoting employment in Burkina Faso. National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova meets with experts mobilised by SOCIEUX+ on the issue of youth employment
The President of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (CNSM) met with experts mobilised by SOCIEUX+ (from Actiris Brussels and the Latvian Ministry of Welfare) to discuss how social dialogue can help solve the problems young people face when entering the labour market. International conference "The role of values in the development of the family: national and foreign experience"
On 17th May 2022 SOCIEUX+ participated in the conference organized by the Committee on Family and Women & Scientific Research Institute Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan to celebrate the International Day of Families. SOCIEUX+ Facility represented by Marzena Breza Development and Technical Advisor for Social Protection and Catharine Barme Coordinator for Labour and Employment presented EU best practices in family policies and gender perspective for the labour market.

EU-Mauritius partnership: handover of two strategic documents for the promotion of the rights of people living with disabilities
The Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Mauritius handed over to the Minister of Social Integration, Social Security and National Solidarity two strategic documents to promote the rights of people leaving with disabilities.
