SOCIEUX+ initiates cooperation on disability-inclusive social protection in Mongolia

SOCIEUX+ initiates cooperation on disability-inclusive social protection in Mongolia

SOCIEUX+ and the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities (GADPWD) of Mongolia have begun cooperating on disability-inclusive social protection programs. This is the first action SOCIEUX+ has undertaken with a Mongolian partner. Its specific objectives are to support GADPWD in the formulation of a medium-term action plan to support people with disabilities and their families (SOCIEUX+ cooperation 2022-12).

Needs assessment for a pilot one-stop shop for youth employment services in Kenya

Public experts mobilized by SOCIEUX+ from the Public Employment Service for Brussels (Actiris) and the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) partnered with the Kenyan National Employment Authority (NEA), visiting the NEA offices in Muranga and holding a workshop in Thika as part of the planning for a pilot one-stop shop for youth employment services in Thika (SOCIEUX+ cooperation 2022-19).

Technical cooperation with the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan

After an initial activity sharing EU best practices on the collection of additional voluntary contributions to non-state pension funds, experts mobilized by SOCIEUX+ from Finland and France are working with our partners from the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan on a strategy to attract and increase these contributions (SOCIEUX+ cooperation 2022-21).

Cooperation with the Agricultural Chamber of the East in Bolivia

SOCIEUX+ continues its technical cooperation in Bolivia through a partnership with the Agricultural Chamber of the East. After an initial activity to diagnosis and ensure a sustainable management of their Agricultural Training Center, the Spanish experts mobilized by SOCIEUX+ from the TransJus Institute of the University of Barcelona and the Regional Government of Castilla y León from Spain, have been working jointly on an operational plan and a system of professional qualifications for the center (SOCIEUX+ cooperation 2022-11).

SOCIEUX+ talks: In support of universal health insurance coverage in Kongo Central

Innocent Mbala Nosa, director of the mutual health insurance provider Musakis Fass in Kongo Central, explains how the technical cooperation between SOCIEUX+ and national partners – the Division of Public Health and Social Affairs of the Kongo Central province and Musakis Fass – helped determine the feasibility of experimental implementation of a universal health coverage system in the province.
