- Through two activities, Finnish, French, and German experts mobilized by SOCIEUX+ provided the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan with EU good practices in collecting voluntary contributions to non-state pension funds, followed by a strategy to create, attract and create incentives to non-state pension funds.

- The State Employment Agency (under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection) is committed to improving its services to the unemployed and job-seeking persons in their reintegration into the labour market, which includes its Vocational Training and Education (VET) services. SOCIEUX+ support was requested to map and assess the existing VET providers, and provide a benchmark of EU practices as well as roadmap for digitalizing VET. Swedish, French and Spanish expertise provided the SEA staff with practical solutions to increase capacities of VET providers and harmonize services.

- Experts from Finland, Lithuania, Romania and the United Kingdom first assessed the competences and analytical tools available to the Scientific Research and Training Center on Labour and Social Problems of Azerbaijan to conduct research and policy advise on social security matters, particularly that of access and inclusion of persons with disabilities. A training of researchers presented indicators for measuring accessibility and inclusion and how state policies respond to the specific needs of persons with disability.
