    Description
The Social Policy Cabinet (GPS) of the Dominican Republic collaborated with SOCIEUX+ to modernize its monitoring and evaluation (M&E) functions. The goal was to transform M&E into a strategic tool for evidence-based policymaking, integrating Adaptive Social Protection and gender perspectives to respond effectively to social inequalities and external shocks Through a peer-to-peer exchange with public experts from Spain, the action established a robust "first layer of institutionalization". Key results include the validation of a "Minimum Necessary Repertory" of four fundamental technical tools and the design of ten operational protocols that formalize the entire M&E cycle. Additionally, a "Training of Trainers" program empowered a core team of professionals to autonomously replicate these methodologies. By operationalizing data disaggregation and intersectional analysis, the GPS is now better equipped to design resilient and inclusive social programs.
