Learning experiences and thoughts from SOCIEUX+ regional meeting in Mexico
SOCIEUX+ regional meeting in Mexico City brought together more than 100 participants, including a selection of delegates from Latin American countries and representatives of European countries and institutions. They were able to discuss the current state of public employment policies and social protection systems in both regions. SOCIEUX+ in Peru: Enhancing social protection policies for labor migrants and atypical workers
Working together, SOCIEUX+ and the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) of Peru have jointly identified two areas of cooperation for improvements in social protection: the portability of rights of Peruvian labor migrants (Action 2017-12), and adequate coverage of atypical workers (Action 2017-30).

SOCIEUX+ participated in the two-day EU-Georgia Dialogues conducted in Tbilisi on 19-20 September 2018, with a special session organized by DG Employment (European Commission) to foster cooperation between the two countries under the EU-Georgia Association Agreement.

Armenia is in the process of transforming the way in which disability is assessed. The objective is to shift from a medical to a bio-psychological model of disability assessment, based on the WHO International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).
