- The Center for Agricultural Training (CFA) of the Eastern Agricultural Chamber (CAO) of Bolivia was expected to take off in 2022 towards a modern professional training model tailored to the needs of agricultural producers and workers. The CAO was committed to work on the Institutional systematization of the CFA to ensure their services could reach most associates and meet the basic requirements of a training entity. Collaboration with experts from Spain and France through SOCIEUX+ was pivotal in providing resources and expertise for long-term sustainability of the CFA. An extensive organizational assessment led to the creation of an operational plan and a collaborative effort to design a pedagogical model for the CFA. Additionally, a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system was established to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the training programs.

- Dual Training is the set of actions that aims to provide the apprentice with a professional qualification that combines the formal vocational training with the practice in a company, thereby involving the companies in active training in order to facilitate the labour insertion of the apprentices. The General Directorate for Vocational Training of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion has deployed with the mobilized experts from Portugal and Spain a progressive approach that first assesses the current Dual Training opportunities and, on this basis, develops proposals for reinforcing this public-private partnership aimed to increase youth employability.

- The Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion of Peru has collaborated with experts from France and Spain in view to develop the coverage of the Vocational Guidance and Information Service (SOCIO) through the incorporation and professionalization of new actors and public and private institutions offering services to young people. The team worked on the development of a policy of partnerships between the public and the private sector, aiming at increasing the volume of services offered on the platform.

- Description
- The Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion of Peru requested SOCIEUX+ support in view to enhance its capacity to assess the quality and impact of vocational education and training (VET) programmes deployed at the regional level, as the competences, obligations and responsibilities for the design, implementation and evaluation of VET are entirely transferred to the Regions. Mobilized experts from France and Spain have first carried out an inventory and a characterization of the VET existing initiatives. They have thus elaborated a system for monitoring the VET initiatives based on three levels: macro (responding to national priorities and regulations), meso (conceiving a practical role for regional officers to intervene in the deployment of VET), and micro (in relation with private firms and companies supplying employment opportunities).

- The Ministry of Youth, Vocational Training and Integration of Burkina Faso requested the assistance of SOCIEUX+ for organizational matters and to improve staff capacity, through the setting-up of a capacity building plan aimed at professionalizing the staff of different departments. Experts from Belgium and France progressively addressed the issue in the course of four activities, engaging the partner’s key staff in the elaboration of a training plan that addresses the needs and gaps identified by the partner institution’s staff.

- The Instituto para la Economia Social (IPES) of Bogotá provides care and attention to informal street vendors. This action served the purpose of setting up tools for the design, the management and the follow-up of policies related to training, work and employment of informal street vendors. French experts first assessed IPES’ current programme in favor of street vendors, including orientation counselling, vocational training, training on merchandising. Recurrent problems were identified, and assessment results presented and discussed with the partner and its teams. A set of preliminaries recommendations was formulated. Specific attention was given to evaluate the actions aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among street vendors.
